i took online courses at university of phoenix online. an instructor who didn’t find it neccessary to teach the class assigned to her failed me. they’re saying that bc i didn’t pass, i have to pay them back the federal pell grant the government granted me, that they didn’t recieve the funds bc i didn’t pass the class. do i have to repay the federal pell grant?

I did my GED in 2005 so I have an High School diploma. I really would like to earn a degree in something. The only problem is I’m living in Germany and they don’t accept the GED as they do a normal high school diploma. In the US I can study, my SAT scores were about average. I was wondering if I could start a program even though I’m not currently living in the US.

I was wondering if you can use a Blackberry Bold for University of Phoenix classes. I know you can use an Iphone now.

Some people says this Online program is not that good, some other people says it works for them. I am try to decide if I should invest on it or not. Does my employeer would to take seriously or it would like some kind of joke on my resume? Anny comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks

don’t i need my basic english, math, etc.. or when i sign up for Criminal Justice will they give me those classes before?.. i’ve already been to the website but im just not getting it. Has someone out there takin this online course? if so how did you do your basic stuff ?

I’m planning on enrolling but I’m not sure if Companies take that as an actual Degree. I’m planning on taking the two year plan. Do you think its a good idea? Mostly it’s because of my schedule.

I already have a good job as a lead programmer, despite the fact that I don’t have a degree. But from what I’ve seen, having the piece of paper will open doors for me down the line in my career. An online program seems like a good idea, but everything I read about them from people who use them is negative. University of Phoenix seems to get especially bad reviews. I’m looking for something that is reputable, fast paced, and transferable if i want to go to a regular 4 year. Does this exist or are all of these online schools a scam.

I’m especially interested to read answers from people who were in the program.

My friend wants to do it and she said this recruiter was pressuring her and said she didn’t need references from other schools which I thought brought up a red flag. Does anyone know anything about this?

I am considering taking courses through University of Phoenix’s online program, I want to get my psychology degree. Has anyone been through their online program? If so what did you think? Was it hard? Did you learn a lot? What did you like and dislike about the program? How was the workload? I work 40 hours a week and go to the gym almost every evening so I’m concerned how much free time I’m actually going to have!
