College On Line

If you are getting (or have gotten) an online education degree through Dominican University, would you recommend the university? Why or why not? I have a classroom now but won’t have one when I begin my masters; how many times a semester do you think I will have to “borrow” someone’s classroom for observations or lessons?

I was just wondering how does an online degree work? how do you get help and how often do you have to study and be online? and how do you do assignments?? do you have to send stuff in or just send it all online?? Do you pay a full tuition or just so much per course? and can you get a student loan for online courses? can you switch after sometime to going to campus?? I don’t really know anything about it i heard there was online chats for students to ask other students question is that true?? I would like to know everything about it if someone has the time to tell me thanks.

I am considering enrolling in the U of PHX online MBA program. Has anyone done this? What do you know about U of PHX? Is a Masters from there as good as a Masters from say, U of MI? I know my diploma would not say “received online”, but does it matter if it is an online degree or one from grad school I actually attended after college graduation?

Should I try to find a school that is relatively local to me? I live in Virginia.

How do you know if the online school you’re applying to is accredited or not?

Is it possible to finish your degree online without getting it from a purely online college? Are you able to take online courses at any university or are there restrictions depending on where you live? The reason I ask is because of shift work (alternating between days and graveyards) its impossible to attend classes, even night classes, because you never have the same days/nights off. What do people with this situation do?
