College On Line

Hi! Im looking at the possibility of doing distance learning (taking online courses for college/university) and I want to know which would be the best.

So, if you do distance learning, can you please tell me:

- whether or not the institution is accredited
- the types of courses available online
- whether or not an entire certificate or degree can be earned online
- the required fees

I have ~60 college credits, and lots of company courses from my 25 yr career. Trying to get an on-line degree from an accredited school that does not require completion of lab science and math courses.

I dont know if this is weird but i just want to find out some info on this school because i was thinking about going…actually in the middle of applying….but i was wondering if anyone been through the university or know anyone that has and if they have any comments or reviews on the university??? is it good or not worth going too??? lol

classes this summer and asked one of the Professors an important question three days ago. It was about a paper due in a month but I like to be prepared. No answer yet. Am I wrong to think she is eating bon bons with her pet chiuaua and ignoring us peasants, or what?

I am currently attending a community college, and would like to transfer to a Univerisity as soon as I receive my Associates degree.

Does taking online classes affect the way a university see you, and does it make you seem like a lazy person?

Michael Sailor of Microstrategy tried to start a free online internet university degree program back in 2000 but was unable to fund the idea due to his company’s stock tanking. Has anyone accomplished his (admittedly noble) idea yet?

I am looking for some info on the university of Phoenix online courses are the GED programs a scam and does anyone have a degree from there?

I want to go to school, but I work two jobs and have debt I’m trying to get out of. I would really like to get a doctorate in psychology one day and I’m wondering if this is a good school. I was also wondering if I could transfer all my credits to another school in the future? I currently just have a high school diploma and I just want to better myself. Thanks

I’m expecting a baby this October but I want to take essentials of Mbio. I took Human Growth and Development in class and thought it was a waste of my time because she basically did what I could do at home.

So, my question is, how does the online course work, do you have a set time every week that you log on and do a chat with the prof or is it just the material that is presented online rather than in hand?? Is it “easier” than having to go to class 3 hours every night?
